Susana brings more than 15 years of experience in the dietary supplement and nutraceutical industries. Her background includes formulation development, raw material sourcing, vendor qualification, quality control, regulatory compliance, technical documentation, and pilot-to-commercial product development across capsules, powders, tinctures, and tablets.

Her experience includes support during the formulation and R&D work for Fucoidan (brown seaweed) dietary supplements for companies such as Nature Medic, LLC. One unique and exclusive brand is known as Fucoidan powered with AHCC®. These products were designed to enhance the immune system and promote overall health, it combines Fucoidan with AHCC®. This blend combines the benefits of the finest immune activators from both sea and land with our premium formula.

Additionally, Susana has worked as a freelancer by providing consulting work in which she formulated and reformulated more than 100 supplement products across multiple health categories, which include immune support, liver health, cognitive function, digestive support, mitochondrial energy, sports nutrition, and several electrolyte powders.

Susana holds a Doctorate in Naturopathy, a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry & Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach. Her additional training includes a Master’s degree in Herbalism, a Certificate in Nutritional Counseling, and Certified Health Specialist training.

She has also published research on Fucoidan and AHCC® ingredients and has worked across formulation, QC, sourcing, and compliance functions. Her involvement adds important scientific and technical depth to understanding the amazing health benefits that Fucoidan offers.
